AI Glassbox makes machine learning visible, playable, and understandable. You write real programs in Spectra — a friendly language built just for learning AI — and watch a model train, predict, and explain itself, one visible step at a time. Alongside the Studio are live simulations of the big ideas and a Gallery of apps other learners have built and shared. It’s made for grades 4–8, but anyone curious about how AI really works is welcome. Everything runs in your browser: nothing to install, nothing to upload.
No internet from student code, no external APIs, no uploads ever, synthetic data only.
Every algorithm does the actual thing — just smaller and clearer. College ideas, middle-school steps.
Watch a model train, a loss curve drop, a boundary bend. The machinery is the lesson.
All learning is free, no ads. Funded by donations and an optional Capstone credential.
AI Glassbox is a product of SenSym, LLC, and its home is glassbox.sensym.ai. It is a sibling to Arcadia, our learn-to-read platform — built on the same belief that powerful ideas deserve a calm, kid-first home, and the same promise that nothing a child does here ever leaves the browser. The two are separate products that grow on their own, but they share one philosophy: teach the real thing, safely, and keep learning free.
